BBC Biochemical needed a new site to go up in time for a trade show. They needed to tie in their current inventory with the new site and create a new look and layout that reflected their brand and appealed to their target market. The new interface needed to facilitate their users' ability to gain industry insight, procure appropriate documentation, and easily order important medical products.
strategy
Use a promotion in a tradeshow to maximize the number of users to the new site. Develop the appropriate site layout and product hierarchy. Determine the specifics of each product and order. Determine the development environment: Apache/mySQL/PHP.
results
Utilizing the bulk HTML email tool, BBC stimulated an immediate increase in visitors upon launch. Existing and new clients can now place orders online more efficiently. Payment methods include purchase orders, company credit, or invoice. BBC now has the ability to feature any product, promote the latest news, moderate their new message board, and add support documents to their site.
